This page is for all remote support issues and requests.  Whether you are a contracted customer of IT Medic (South West) or not.  We also provide remote desktop support to home users who require a cost effective Remote PC repair. Customers under contract are given top priority. All rates are displayed below.
 
All PC and Server problems that are resolved by remote support will be classed as incidents and each incident will be charged individually upon completion.
 
Definition 
Incident: The time from start to finish to remotely connect and diagnose, then resolve the issue requested by customer.  Some issues may take more than one remote connection to resolve. All incidents will be given a unique number that will be generated by us.  Charges will be per 30 minutes of remote connection, any other work per incident offline will also be charged the same time frame and rate.

We have 3 levels of remote support that we offer all our present and future customers.
 

  This service will have a technician onto your desktop within 3 minutes.
 
This is a on demand remote connection through https Secure Socket layer (SSL) 256 bit encryption.  The user only needs to go to our remote support website link, Pay As You Go Support Our technician will provide a 6 digit access code. Once they have installed the temporary software it will connect the technician to their desktop. The technician and the user will both have control of the system at all times.  The technician also has many diagnostics tools and aids to fix and communicate with the user.
 
This service is a quick resolve solution and does not require any pre installed software or contracts.

 
  This is a FREE software download that provides us with a direct connection to your system.
 
This service is our basic level of contracted support.  We will download and install the software onto the system that you require to be supported.  This will provide us with quick access to the system to cover all incidents. 
  • The main difference from the Rescue support is that it does not require anyone to be at the machine for us to connect and resolve. 
  • The downside is that it is very basic and does not provide any diagnostic tools.

 


 This software is like Logmein Free but with many extra features and diagnostic tools.

 

This service provides the same quick connection without the user or with the user present.  It also provides many support tools that assist us to maintain and diagnose any problems. It is also the main tool used for the contract service provided by us.  It provides us instantly with key system data including running service, open and closed IP ports, live system processes, memory usage, CPU usage, Hard disk space and many more specific required pieces of information for us to both fix and maintain your system.  With this service running we can foresee events and plan ahead any onsite physical maintenance prior to parts or systems failing.
